Natural Therapeutic Oils

Our natural therapeutic oils are created exclusively by the monks at Sukovo monastery in southeastern Serbia.


Infused from the Kantarion (St John’s Wort) blossoms at just the right stage, this infused oil has a characteristic red color and is very popular because of its great anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Kantarion oil has many uses and can be taken internally or applied externally: Take 1 tbsp. 3x per day before meals to help with stomach and intestinal problems. It will also aid minor depression, sleeplessness, and irritability. Because it contains the compound hypercin, it has a calming effect and is therefore considered one of the best herbal remedies for anxiety and the effects of menopause. It has anti-inflamatory properties, is particularly soothing to inflamed nerves, and helpful for cases of neuralgia, sciatica and fibrositis.

Use Kantarion Oil externally to help burns and wounds heal faster. It’s very useful in treating sunburn, since it actually lowers skin temperature; apply the oil to affected area frequently throughout the day. If affected area is exposed to the sun, it is recommended to apply in the evening to avoid sun sensitivity.

Neven oil is made from the Neven (calendula) flower, also known as the pot marigold. This oil is a traditional remedy for many common ailments, from cold sores to acid reflux. It is also known for its ability to treat skin inflammations of all sorts, as well as its antiseptic and cooling properties.

This oil is a powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial agent, and antiseptic. One of the complex characteristics of Neven oil responsible for these actions is a compound called triterpenoid. Whether your issues are dermatitis, eczema, diaper rash, irritated dry skin, or hemorrhoids, Neven will bring relief and health back to your world. Especially great for healing burns, and minor cuts and scrapes, the magic in Neven has been used as far back as ancient times. Relief from inflammation has a positive effect on hundreds of skin ailments even allowing the slower spread of some skin diseases. In the world of essential oils Neven is considered to be one of the most powerful contenders as a therapeutic remedy. Due to the anti-fungal properties of Neven, it can be used to treat ringworm and athletes foot. The high content of antioxidants found in Neven oil contributes to the cell regeneration aspect of the oil. Applying Neven to irritated feet directly out of the shower (sitting until the treatment is completely absorbed); you’ll find that callused feet, corns and planters warts can be treated.

Propolis Tincture

Propolis has long been used as a remedy for various types of ailments, and is touted as having anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties.

Honeybees gather Propolis, a resin, from tree bark and leaves. They combine this resin with nectar, creating a mix of wax and pollen. They then use this substance to seal their hives, protecting it from outside contaminants. They also use Propolis at the entrance to the hive to sterilize themselves as they come and go. This tincture that is so useful to bees for protection and sterilization is also very beneficial for humans.

Uses of Propolis are wide and varied, and include
  • Treatment for burns, cuts and bruises
  • Remedy for urinary infections
  • Remedy for dental plaque
  • Immune system strengthener (Propolis attacks harmful bacteria, but not healthy)
  • Treatment for cold sores, herpes and other viruses

Use: Add 7-8 drops of Propolis Extract to your morning coffee, water, oatmeal or a spoonful of honey. The tincture can be added to anything you digest for an oral treatment, and the healing properties will gradually begin to benefit your body.

For external treatments put a few drops on a cotton ball and apply to the affected area few times daily.

Sremus Extract

Sremus Extract (Allium ursinum) has a blood purifying effect, removing unwanted waste products from our bodies. It also improves the quality of the intestinal flora and has a positive influence on the skin and on both blood circulation and blood pressure.

Some of the uses and benefits of Sremus Extract are as follows:
  • effective for cleansing intestines
  • aids chronic diseases of the skin
  • enhances memory
  • prevents the beginning of arteriosclerosis (clogged arteries), and other heart problems
  • helps with sleeplessness which originates from poor digestion
  • can reduce problems caused by high blood pressure such as dizziness
  • reduces head pressure
  • gradually lowers blood pressure
  • used as a means of purifying blood
Use: Take 1 tbls before breakfast. Individuals with a sensitive stomach may put 15-20 drops of Sremus extract in a little water and drink this every morning before breakfast.
