Infused from the Kantarion (St John’s Wort) blossoms at just the right stage, this infused oil has a characteristic red color and is very popular because of its great anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Kantarion oil has many uses and can be taken internally or applied externally: Take 1 tbsp. 3x per day before meals to help with stomach and intestinal problems. It will also aid minor depression, sleeplessness, and irritability. Because it contains the compound hypercin, it has a calming effect and is therefore considered one of the best herbal remedies for anxiety and the effects of menopause. It has anti-inflamatory properties, is particularly soothing to inflamed nerves, and helpful for cases of neuralgia, sciatica and fibrositis.

Use Kantarion Oil externally to help burns and wounds heal faster. It’s very useful in treating sunburn, since it actually lowers skin temperature; apply the oil to affected area frequently throughout the day. If affected area is exposed to the sun, it is recommended to apply in the evening to avoid sun sensitivity.
